1. To implement the laws , the principles , the policies and the
regulations of archives work.
2. To constitute the archives development projects and related
rulesof the whole city and to implement them.
3. To supervise and guide the archives work of the civic archives
units and other organizations.
4. To organize and guide the study of archives theories and
technologies and the work of archives protection , archives
education , archives propaganda.
5. To collect and regulate the valuable archives materials.
6. To regulate and take care of the couserved archives
scientifically.
7. To exploit the archives information resource by various ways
for the society.
8. Complete other tasks assigned by CPC . Linghai Municipal
Commitlee and Linghai Municipal Government as well as those
assigned by national and prorincial archives bureaus.
